In this episode, we discover the life of Ulrich Zwingli, who had humble beginnings very much like Martin Luther. He had the opportunity to join the monks, but he did not desire to go down that path. Zwingli was called to minister in the cathedral in Zurich, Switzerland, and it was here that he spearheaded the Swiss Reformation in the 16th century. The Church of Rome then made several attempts to end his life and oppose his teachings. Zwingli continued to preach God's word for the rest of his life.
